1.  Import Liaison Clerk

Educational Requirements:

Matric (Must have)

 

Experience Requirements:

Experience or knowledge of imports process, permits, certificates etc.

Computer literate in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (must have a high level of proficiency)
Must be very proficient in English (both verbal & written)

Must be well spoken & presented

Must be attentive to detail

Own transport

 

Responsibilities:

Liaising with overseas office constantly

Liaising with & following up with NRCS regarding new permits or existing permits

Liaising & following up regarding LOA’s of safety or energy for permits

Liaising with overseas office regarding changes to documents, following up regarding these

Ensuring all detail and information is correct on permits, documentation etc. (VERY IMPORTANT, ATTENTION TO DETAIL!!!)

Consistently meeting deadlines

Ensuring all queries, permits, documentation and queries for all product imports are being attended to, up to date and in the correct process, avoiding any delays

Adhering to procedures & regulations

General admin is kept up to date

Ensuring customer service

Assisting with any adhoc requirements as needed

 

Additional info:

Salary is R10 000 – R14 000 gross per month

Monday – Friday 8:30am to 4pm

Resides within Edenvale area

Clear crim record

 

Location: East Rand – Edenvale

 

 


2. Cargo- Call Centre Agent


Educational Requirements:

Matric level and/or equivalent experience

 

Experience Requirements:

Experience in cargo commercial areas is preferred.

Proven rapid analysis and decision-making

Systems literate including expertise in using Excel and data exploitation tools such as Business Objects (or a proven aptitude to learn)

 

Responsibilities:

Motivated and focused on achieving individual and call center targets and objectives.

Explore opportunities for growing Premium products and new destinations making full use of IAGC extensive network.

Own personal development and various opportunities to develop skills to maximize performance.

Provide a consistent quality service to customers at all times and strive to offer customers with a one stop shopping experience.

Jointly with sales team, provide day to day support for their territory of customers.

Act as liaison between customers and account managers, with fast and reliable sharing of information.

Handle each call as a ‘’sales opportunity’’, and ensure best standards of customer service.

Conformance – responsible to ensure that every booking made conforms to IAGC requirements. Be ready to answer to any non-conformance and implement corrective action. 

Monitor and action queues promptly and efficiently.

Liaise closely with GHA with clear instructions for flight planning purposes and ensure that customers remain fully advised of booking details of their shipments.

Track and trace shipments as required and ensure that any offloads are rebooked.

Maximize up selling opportunities as agreed with account managers and call center supervisor.

Ensure procedures followed as per SOPs.

Complete call reports – through Pulse or as agreed with management processes and ensure proactive contribution to team meetings.

Addition:

Salary is R6 000 per month.

R1000 towards medical aid.

7.5% towards a retirement fund.

Must have strong leadership qualities.

Holds a valid passport with the ability to obtain a visa for entry into the UK

Right to live/work in South Africa

3. Stores Clerk (Aviation) – Temp Contract  

 

Educational Requirements:

Matric (Must have)

 

Experience Requirements:

At least 2- 3 years’ relevant experience as a stores clerk in Aviation (Must Have)

Must be well spoken

Must be proficient on Microsoft office

Must be proficient on Excel

Experience with IAS would be an advantage

Experience with NEP, import / export documentation

Experience with ABC class parts advantageous

Must be attentive to detail & accurate

 

Responsibilities:

General knowledge and experience in general Storekeeping functions, including the following functions:

Procurement

Receipt and despatch of components

Raising / processing of supporting documentation for component transactions

Storage of product

Issuing of components and component requisitioning

Bonded store

Ensuring that all stores duties and responsibilities are in accordance with all regulatory & company procedures

Accountable for ensuring operations are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations and standards of the Operator and within the confines of the AOC and relevant operational specifications

Responsible for the OHS in their area of responsibility and accountability reporting into this role

Accountable for the management of safety risks and security threats to aircraft operations

Responsible for completion of various stores related project work

Receiving, recording and binning of items as per the MOE procedures

Carry out Storeman functions as per the MOE procedures

Carry out Procurement functions as per the MOE procedures

Raising of repair / exchange orders, as well as supporting documentation i.e. NEP form, Import / Export documents and Airway Bill document

Ensuring that all unserviceable rotable items are correctly certified before they get processed for dispatch

Adhoc duties as required

 

Addition:

Salary R8000 – R10 000 per month

Temporary Contract (+- 6 months)

Must have a clear crim record

Must have own transport and a valid license

Shift work & may be required to work outside of normal working hours
