1. Key Accounts Manager: Food Flavours/ Raw Ingredients / Aromas & Enhancers

 

 

 

Educational Requirements:

 

Matric

 

 

 

Experience Requirements:

 

Must have at least 5 years’ in Sales of product (flavours, top notes, enhancers, emulsions, colours) range to various customers within industrial food production / manufacturing sector (Non Negotiable)

 

Must have excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans

 

Must be well spoken & presented

 

Must be attentive to detail

 

Must be proficient in Microsoft office

 

Must have own transport and valid driver license

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Sales of product (flavours, top notes, enhancers, emulsions, colours) range to various customers within industrial food production / manufacturing sector

 

Focus on new business development & product channels – bakery/industrial,

 

To be able to advise customers on suitable flavour applications /complements / enhancers to their products (some experience in R & D within industry)

 

Present to customers

 

To build & maintain customer relationships

 

Customer management – implement business plan, product development and forecasting

 

Analyse customer business, including customer profile

 

Formulate effective action plans and call cycles

 

Sales operations – achieve targets, communicate trade activity, product management

 

Perform trade visits where necessary

 

Manage customer order activity, credits and rebates

 

Monitor & Communicate competitor activity, market intelligence, pricing surveys and new market trends

 

Conduct customer business reviews on a quarterly basis

 

Achieving targets, managing forecasts & pipelines

 

General Admin

Basic per month (Negotiable to be discussed) + Commission

2.  Key Accounts Manager: Freight / Import / Export

 

Educational Requirements:

 

Matric

 

Relevant tertiary qualification is desired

 

 

 

Experience Requirements:

 

Relevant air freight import / export experience is a MUST (minimum 5 years)

 

Relevant Sales & business development experience

 

Comfortable negotiating & discussing terms with large corporate clients

 

Good analytical acumen with ability to manipulate, analyze and interpret financial and business data

 

Proficient in Microsoft Office & advanced on Excel

 

Well-spoken (in English) and able to speak Afrikaans

 

Well presented

 

Own transport & valid endorsed license

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Key account management & interface between client & clearing agents etc.

 

Travelling to various key accounts

 

Build and develop a network with potential and existing customers & key accounts and increase revenue through the identifying of opportunities for growing current client business to achieve sales targets and results

 

Prepare plan and forecast for each targeted Key Account Client and increase market share

 

Provide visible support in resolving client concerns and challenges , facilitating  airfreight forwarding solutions to meet the Key Account Client’s on going and changing needs

 

Ensure high level service delivery through the management of the forwarding life cycle from commencement to completion, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness

 

Ensuring consistent and competitive pricing agreements, cognizant of the calculation of cost structures and so on

 

Administering and maintain the airfreight import / export schedules

 

Remain up to date with buying and selling trends

 

Resolve queries promptly regarding Import / Export Accounts and ensuring quality service to the client

 

Leading & managing the clearing agents

 

Proactively ensure that all activities in the area of responsibility are compliant with current legal & company specific regulations including ISO etc.

 

Reporting on monthly accounts, sales and so on

Salary is negotiable based on current earnings  

 

Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm

 

Company car + benefit contributions

 

Willing to travel

 

Willing to work outside of office hours if needed
